McDonalds Manawatu Junior Masters

Last weekend 13 Hastings juniors headed down to Manawatu for their first away tournament representing the Club.

Jack Bernie*, Leo Dixon, Lachlan Smith, Ruby Jarvis, Niamh McGillicuddy*, Tom McHardy, Luke Jarvis, Willie Bush*, Leo Huata, George Bidwell, George Pogson, Thomas Sharp* and Ethan Cook.  

* first away tournament, congratulations!

On arrival to Manawatu Golf Club the juniors wrote down and executed their 60-minute warm up followed by a team dinner at Breakers.  Sunday morning was a chilly and early rise for them!

The juniors represented themselves well on and off the course.

Faiways for Mother's Day

A fantastic turnout for the launch of Fairways Cafe|Bar new menu on Mother's Day last Sunday.  Thanks to everyone that came and we hope you enjoyed your day.  It was great to see the clubhouse buzzing.

The Brunch Menu is now live and available Wed-Sun 10am - 3pm.  A bar snacks menu is also an option, available everyday the clubhouse is open, 10am-5pm.

Take advantage of some of the delicious options available and support the club.

Are Your Subscriptions Overdue?

The subscription instalment was due for payment by 30 April and there is still a number outstanding.  If this is you, it is appreciated that these are settled asap.

Grieve Salver & Tattersall Dixon Qualifying

The Grieve Salver is scheduled for Sunday 28th May.  This is a Best Ball Stableford mixed pairs competition.

Teams that play will progress to the Tattersall Dixon Match Play.  This is a mixed pair's best ball stableford.  The seeded draw and play by dates will be posted on the noticeboard from the Grieve Salver results.

Tee times are available between 10:00am-11:00am on 28th May.  To enter please phone or email the pro shop with details of your pair to be booked.  E: golfadmin@hastingsgolfclub.co.nz

Men's Matchplay Club Championship

The matchplay club champ qualifying finished on Saturday 6th May.

The draws have been posted on the noticeboard.  If you qualified in the top 16 in your division in the qualifying please make sure you take note of the play by dates.  However, if you can arrange to play before these dates feel free to do so.

The round of 16 matches has been booked for Saturday 24th June.
