This longstanding mixed event is on Sunday 16 October.  

The format is foursomes, so get your pair entered directly with the pro shop to secure a spot and get involved in this fun competition.

Tee times from 10:04am.

Men's Senior Club Champs Final 

Due to representative golfing commitments, the men's senior club champs final is to be played Sunday 9 October.

The match is between Jared McGillicuddy and Mike Trass. 

Member support is encouraged for this match.

Men's 2022 Greenwood Cup 

The first team for the 2022 Greenwood Cup to play the first three rounds at Waipukurau Golf Club on 15/16 October are (in playing order):

Hole In One Benefit

We are pleased to advise the hole in one benefit will be increased from 1st October 2022. 

"In the event of a player holing in one during a stipulated round of golf they shall receive a voucher valued at $200."

Staff Needed!

As you are probably aware the hospitality sector (along with many others!) are struggling for staff and we are no exception.  However, being a club this adds another element to our serivce, delivery and meeting expectations.  

Chef/Cook - with Mel leaving us a few weeks ago to have her first child, we need a chef to join us and assist Elysia.

Barista/FOH - general 'all-rounder' needed.

Food & Beverage Price Increases

Unfortunately due to the increased rise of inflation and excise tax increases in July, we have had to review the pricing of the clubhouse offerings.  This has been held off as long as practical however, from October there will be increases in some products.

Our aim is to keep this as minimal as we can but we have had increases between 5% - 12% across our beer and wine products since March this year.  Specifically, Corona has increased 10%, Heineken 8%, Panhead kegs 9% and wine 12%.

We remind and encourage members to utilise their member cards and use the House Account benefit.  Funds loaded onto your membership card will be 'topped up' 10% to support and differentiate members vs. visitors and give you the club experience we aim for. 

The 'actual member cost' on some lines i.e. Corona & Heineken, are 15 cents per unit increase using the House Account.

New Membership Year Commencing

The new membership year commences on 1st October 2022 and subscription invoices will be issued early next week. 

Please keep an eye on your Inbox or Junk as the DotGolf system sends invoices as bulk email and some home computers may throw straight to junk.

If you would like the ability to pay subs monthly, please get in touch with Meg (admin@hastingsgolfclub.co.nz) asap to arrange this.

New memebrship cards can be collected towards the end of next week from the office.  Or, let us know if you'd like to have them left in the pro shop for collection.

New Golf Admin Email

From today there is a new email to use for any comms regarding club competitions, events and general golf operation enquiries.

Please use: golfadmin@hastingsgolfclub.co.nz

This will replace emailing the pro shop direct for club golf using the 'specialteegolf.co.nz' email.  Please add this into your address book for future use.
