Well, it’s been a busy month on the Golf Course with players completing their matches and representing the Club. The Senior Women’s Club Championships finals was played earlier due to the players Representative Commitments.

Interzone – Hosted by Dannevirke

Congratulations to the following players who were selected from our Club to represent the Central Zone Team: - Anna Wood, Annabelle Absolom, Robyn Stallard, Patsy White, Anne Bibby, and Christine Bird.  Players played 27 holes against teams from Southern and Northern Zones. The results were a win to Central Zone on 696, 2^nd Southern on 684 and Northern 3^rd on 633 Stableford Points. A fantastic result for the Central Zone Team.

Mona Hunter – Monday 3^rd October

This is an annual Stableford Tournament played between Hastings, Napier, and Waipukurau Golf Clubs. Playing for the Mona Hunter Trophy. The date for this year is scheduled for Monday 3^rd October and is hosted by the Napier Golf Club. The notice is up in the Women’s Locker room, and we are seeking registrations of interest to play in this Annual Challenge.

Robbie Brown Tournament Tuesday 27^th September – Cancelled

Club Championships Finals

These are scheduled for Sunday 30^th October. Winners will go on to represent the Club at the Champion of Champions held at Hastings on Sunday 20^th November.

2022 Senior Women’s Club Championships Final

This final was held on Sunday 18^th September due to the players Representative Commitments. Diana Syer and Martha Manaena played in this final over 36 holes, there was some fantastic golf played by our top club players. Both were all square after 18 holes and it all came down to the final 18 holes. Congratulations to Di Syer in claiming the win. Also, a special thanks to Elizabeth Bell for referring and to all the supporters.
