As I write this its raining again and just when we thought we were in for a nice fine spell. Bring on spring. Great to see you all out on the golf course which is looking fantastic.

Tuesday Men v Tuesday Women

Thank goodness for a beautiful day for the Tuesday Men v Tuesday Women. A great turnout of over 70 players, there was a lot of friendly banter for our coveted trophy. Well done to the Tuesday Men in taking out the trophy. Also, congratulations to our two top Stapleford scorers Linda Orton 42 and Thea Till scoring 38 Stableford points for the team. Lots of fun was had by all. Bring on the next challenge which is scheduled for Tuesday 29^th November.

Another great turnout for this annual competition. Congratulations to the Presidents Team in taking out the Trophy which was won by .8 a close competition.

5 Club Challenge

This was a fun Challenge and great to see our members enter in the Spirit of this Challenge played off the Terracotta Tees. The results were: -

This competition is played over one round and is open to full 18-hole members.

This competition is played over two rounds and is for 9 Hole Affiliated Players.

Robbie Brown Tournament Tuesday 27^th September

Not long to the annual Robbie Brown 18 Hole Tournament which is held on Tuesday 27^th September. Get your team of four together for this fun event. There will also be a fashion parade featuring “Robbie Brown” Golf Clothing.

Mona Hunter

This is an annual Stableford Tournament played between Hastings, Napier, and Waipukurau Golf Clubs. Playing for the Mona Hunter Trophy. The date for this year is scheduled for Monday 3^rd October and is hosted by the Napier Golf Club. A notice will be posted closer to the time.

Women’s Locker Room Library

Just a reminder we have a locker room library set up in the alcove in the Women’s Locker Room. We are seeking donations of books and/or magazines for our sharing library.
